Alana's
ballet class level ranges intermediate to trained dancers or
beginners, see below) -- the class is geared to what the individual
can do.
Intermediate/advanced
Ballet Technique
Mondays & Wednesdays
7-8:30 PM, Saturday & Sundays 11:45-1:15PM
The class
structure consists of an hour barre for warming up, to a forty five
minute center floor practice which includes working on turns, jumps,
leaps, across the floor, adagio and allegro combinations. Alana's
classes are "drop-in," so no need to register in advance,
just show up!

Beginning
Ballet Technique
Tuesdays 6:30-8 PM (Thursday
barre --see below)
This
class starts with the beginning basics of ballet from the warm up,
through to the barre exercises, center work and turns. It is a class
for either the true ballet beginner or for the student looking to
brush-up his or her technique. Alana's classes
are "drop-in," so no need to register in advance, just
show up. So welcome to the rewarding world of adult ballet!
Note: Pointe shoes not allowed in beginning class.

Thursdays 6:25-7:15PM

Pure and simple, just the barre. This class offers the beginning
student an opportunity to practice their barre to strengthen technique,
and to stay in lithe shape.

and Bachelor's degrees in dance and enjoys teaching as well as performing
and choreographing in Studio A's DanceSpot series
