Our four week cycles of acting class are focused and add useful tools to your process as an actor, while culminating the monthly cycle with the challenge of performing material for an industry guest who provides feedback

When: Sunday evenings from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Studio A Dance in Silverlake. HYPERION ARTS COMPLEX 2306 Hyperion Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027.
Cost: $200 for four weeks
Parking. Street parking. There are MANY free parking spots on the street available on Sunday night.
Prerequisite: Before being assigned a scene and a scene partner, you will need to submit a current headshot/resume to Hunter ( You will be contacted to arrange a brief interview so that Hunter may assign you a scene partner with a similar skill/experience level. Advanced students will be paired with other advanced students and so on. Casting policy: If a scene partner refuses to show up for rehearsal or prepare adequately for class, you will be assigned a new scene partner.
Limit: 24 students

Hunter Lee Hughes
Hunter Lee Hughes is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Los Angeles. He founded Fatelink in 2004 and StoryAtlas in 2013.
This Summer, Hunter directed his first experimental feature film - Guys Reading Poems - which is now in post-production. His previous directing effort was the comedy narrative webseries Dumbass Filmmakers!, launched in 2012, which recently won four awards at L.A.WebFest, including “Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series.” Hunter also wrote and produced Winner Takes All, which played at ten international film festivals before being acquired for distribution as part of the Black Briefs collection of dark short films. He is currently developing a narrative feature film, Inside-Out, Outside-In.
Hunter’s two plays, Fate of the Monarchs and The Sermons of John Bradley, were mounted in Los Angeles, with Fate of the Monarchs being chosen as “Critic’s Pick” by BackStage West and The Sermons of John Bradley winning “Best Leading Actor in A Drama – Male” by for the 2008-2009 Season.
His background with screenwriting includes eight years of work as a story analyst for Paramount Classics/Vantage and five years of work as the writing assistant to Mardik Martin (co-writer, Raging Bull and Mean Streets).
Acting roles include ‘Bobby’ in the 25th anniversary production of Thomas Babe’s A Prayer for my Daughter (directed by Dorothy Lyman), ‘Frank Colby’ in the television pilot Project: X (directed by Starling Price) and, most recently, the lead role of ‘Evan’ in the film Narcissist(directed by Eric Casaccio). Hunter has also appeared in a number of Fatelink projects, including Guys Reading Poems, Fate of the Monarchs, The Sermons of John Bradley, Winner Takes All and Dumbass Filmmakers!
