Tai Chi Chuan
(donation)

with Gary Silk
class
info: Thursdays 8-9 PM
Chi Chuan is an ancient system of breathing and movement that promotes
internal strength to achieve a healthy body, a quiet mind, and a
free spirit. Hidden within the slow and graceful movements is a
powerful and elegant system of self -defense. Those who practice
Tai Chi call it "playing Tai Chi" because of the relaxed
and happy feeling of well -being we get as a result of the exercise.
Tai Chi is a great antidote to the physical, mental, and emotional
stresses and strains of our fast- paced and demanding lifestyle.
Get rid of aches and pains. Improve your posture and balance. Strengthen
your immune system. Learn to yield without retreating. Become more
focused and productive. Relax. And have a good time..
Gary Silk says....
"From the time I began playing Tai Chi, I have noticed a continuing
improvement in my life. I am healthier. I rarely even catch a cold.
I am stronger and have more physical stamina. And I am far more
relaxed and confident than I was fifteen years ago. My Sifu, Master
Ng has given me his permission to pass along what I have learned
to those who are interested. Whether you are a beginner, or a veteran
martial artist, you are sure to enjoy the exercises and the results. This
is the ultimate exercise for the mind, body and spirit, a lot of
fun, and the results are outstanding."
* Although the class is donation and we won't
turn anyone away, we suggest a minimum $10 donation so that expenses
for the studio rental and usage of the electricity and heat are
covered. Thank you.
