ZUMBA DIVA is a fusion of various dance forms designed for you to discover your inner diva and cradle your soul! Sweat and revitalize your spirit with music and dance from all over Latin America, Africa, and the Caribbean.
ABOUT ANDREA
Born and raised in the San Francisco, La Mission, Andrea "budafly Rodriguez has been dancing and performing for over 15 years. She has studied dance and performed in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Senegal, Mexico, Hawaii, and the Southwest. Rodriguez, was the principal dancer of LOCO BLOCO Drum and Dance Ensemble in SF for over 7 years. She receive her BA in dance and choreography from the UCLA, World Arts and Cultures Dept. Rodriguez, received her MFA from USC, School of CinematicArt, Interactive Media Division and wrote and directed her first dance short film MUJER MAIZ and developed an interactive dance installation/game to encompass the film. Andrea, currently studies Bomba (Puerto Rican folkloric dance) with Atabey and Afro-Cuban with Kati Hernandez in Los Angeles.
