about the class

Alison teaches an upbeat contemporary ballet for dancers and non-dancers. She dances for her mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health and encourages her students to not take themselves so seriously, it’s only dance after all! We’re here to have fun. We start at the barre to focus on building strength and aligning the body, in the middle of the class there will be a guided stretch, then dancing in the center for cardio and happiness, and end with a quick cooldown! The goal is to feel comfortable in your own skin and to leave with a smile on your face. Choreography will periodically change, and the music is pop-heavy and upbeat.

about Ali Mae

(Alison “Ali” Mae Byrne): Alison has been dancing for her entire life, formally training since starting ballet and tap at age 3. Although primarily focusing on ballet, she has continued her training in modern, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and ballroom dance. She holds a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate, and incorporates yogic breathwork and postures into her warmups, stretches, and cooldowns.
