THE CLASS

Contemporary

Beginners welcome !

Payment is sliding scale

$15-20 payable by cash or Venmo.

Class begins with a warm-up that emphasises core and some technique for alignment, balance, and strength. Then choreography is taught as a work in progress…You will learn phrases and movement direction but space is also made to incorporate and encourage individual self-expression.

JESSIE

Jessie Wray Goodman is an AEA/SAG-E actor, dancer, screenwriter, and filmmaker living in LA. She has her BFA in Acting from Shenandoah Conservatory and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. As an Adjunct Professor at Point Park Conservatory, she taught Active Analysis, Mindfulness for the Artist, Scene Study, and Professional Seminar. She believes in creating a nonjudgmental, open space to allow people to play, practice creative flow, and grow as artists. 

CRISTINE

Cristine has been dancing in Los Angeles since 1998.  She started teaching right here at studio A, then found a home at The Sweat Spot for about a decade.
